Safety Advisor-Wendouree

Ventia has secured the Victorian Road Maintenance Contracts for the Grampians and Eastern Metropolitan regions. Commencing 1 July 2026, Ventia will deliver comprehensive road maintenance, emergency response and minor capital works, reinforcing its role as a long‑term partner supporting safe and reliable road networks across Victoria.

Ventia’s Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join the team.

The Safety Advisor supports the safe delivery of road maintenance and construction activities by providing practical advice, assurance and on‑site support to operational teams. The role plays a hands‑on part in promoting a strong safety culture.

This is a permanent full-time position and will be based out of our Wendouree office.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide safety advice and guidance to operational teams
• Conduct site inspections, audits and observations
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Promote positive safety culture and continuous improvement

To be successful in your application, you will have:

• Experience in safety advisory roles within construction or infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of safety systems and legislation
• Relevant safety qualifications
• White Card and current driver’s licence.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
