Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking multiple Transportation Engineer 2s to support the South Central Region (SCR) Program Management Office in delivering a safe, reliable, and cost-effective highway construction program. These positions play a key role on the Project Controls team by maintaining accurate project data, supporting program management systems, and assisting with monitoring project funds, spending plans, and actual expenditures. Incumbents will work closely with project managers and engineering staff to ensure timely updates related to scope, schedule, and budget changes. These roles require strong attention to detail, the ability to identify inconsistencies, and responsiveness to urgent program management inquiries from regional and headquarters staff. As journey-level engineers, these positions exercise independent judgment while managing multiple assignments in alignment with established policies, procedures, and standards.
