About the Opportunity

We’re supporting a fast-growing B2B SaaS organisation who is expanding internationally across Europe and the US. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling finance team and play a key role in building robust, future-ready accounting processes within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Role Overview

As a Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of core accounting activities while contributing to process optimisation and international expansion. This is a hands-on role with exposure to multiple entities, working closely with stakeholders across the business to support accurate reporting and scalable finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including AP, fixed assets, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across multiple entities
• Take ownership of selected entities, including reporting and audit coordination
• Oversee and monitor payment processes across the group
• Perform account and intercompany reconciliations
• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and internal teams on accounting matters
• Support international subsidiaries as a finance business partner
• Assist with onboarding new entities into finance systems
• Drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting timelines
• Contribute to finance-related projects (e.g. ERP implementation, international expansion, M&A)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or tax (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5+ years’ experience in accounting, ideally within a SaaS company
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS or US GAAP exposure is advantageous
• Experience supporting audits and working on finance transformation projects
• Comfortable working with finance systems and driving process improvements
• Proficient in Excel and accounting tools
• Fluent German and strong English communication skills
