Embedded Linux Engineer / Android Automotive Developer

- Development and adaptation of AAOS or AOSP for specific vehicle models.
- Integration of vehicle hardware and software.
- Development and maintenance of system services and drivers.
- Collaboration with hardware engineers to implement vehicle functions.
- Execution of system tests and debugging at hardware level.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and certification standards.
- Implementation of OTA updates and maintenance of the system software.
- Personal background: You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or in a related field.
- Technical Expertise:
- Sound knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Rust, C++.
- You have experience with AOSP and Android NDK.
- Knowledge of system programming and Linux Kernel development.
- You are familiar with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN bus.
- You have experience with debugging tools such as adb, logcat and gdb.
- Additionally, you have experience with Gradle and Soong Build System.
- AI expertise: Practical experience using modern AI tools to support everyday tasks.
- Mindset: You have good communication skills and teamwork is important to you.
- Would be a plus!
- Experience with automotive grade Linux (AGL).
- Knowledge of the development of safety-critical systems.
- Experience with the integration of infotainment systems.
- Knowledge of the implementation of vehicle-diagnostic and telemetry systems.
- Knowledge of the Android Security mechanisms (SELinux).
