Since the 2026 season, Audi has been competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Center in UK is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.
What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you are someone for whom giving up isn’t an option and limits are just something to be overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.
Our internships as well as thesis projects last at least four months, are full-time, and we offer fair compensation.
This position is scheduled to start from September 2026. To apply, we require a current CV, relevant certificates, a certificate of enrollment, and, if applicable, your university’s examination regulations as well as an up-to-date, official transcript of records. Important Information

Please note that all theses are subject to a confidentiality clause, and an additional non-disclosure agreement with the university supervisor may be required.
This position is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

The procurement team is responsible for sourcing components for the power unit as well as general procurement goods and services. We work closely with other departments within AFR GmbH as well as with our supplier network to drive projects and tasks forward efficiently and in a goal-oriented manner.

- You will consolidate information and support us with system analyses.

- You are enrolled as a student in a business, technical, or scientific field of study.
- Excellent communication skills.
- You have solid MS Office skills and handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Proficiency in German or English, as well as willingness to learn basic skills in the other language, is required.
