Capital Markets Associate

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capital Markets Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will ensure that our daily cash movements, borrowing base reporting, and credit facility requirements are handled with accuracy. You will leverage SQL and advanced Excel to automate reporting, build data tapes, and optimize our capital markets workflows.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly funding operations across multiple credit facilities (Warehouses, Forward Flow).
• Help build and tie out the routine borrowing base required to draw down funds from our lending partners, as well as execute on closing each transaction by moving collateral and completing reconciliations.
• Assist in managing day-to-day interactions with our banking partners, trustees, and paying agents.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to extract loan data, build accurate data tapes, and verify collateral eligibility for our various SPVs.
• Transition manual, Excel-heavy workflows into streamlined, automated processes.
• Build and maintain tracking dashboards to monitor portfolio performance and ensure we are maximizing the efficiency of our pledged collateral.
• Support the tracking of our Covenant Matrix, ensuring all concentration limits and eligibility triggers are monitored and reported accurately.
• Assist the Capital Markets and Accounting teams with data pulls and file preparation for field exams, financial audits, and diligence sessions.

Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, Structured Finance Operations, or Treasury at a Fintech, Bank, Lending Platform, or Asset Manager.
• Advanced Excel is mandatory. Ideally, hands-on experience with SQL and are comfortable writing queries to pull and manipulate large datasets.
