Team Assistant (m/f/d)

What you will do

As a Team Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative, organizational, and operational processes within the Business Unit Industrial Trade and Converting. You will act as a central coordination point, supporting management, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring high standards in compliance, financial processes, and event execution.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and can manage multiple priorities independently.

Your tasks include:

• Provide administrative and organizational support to Business Unit management
• Coordinate onboarding of new employees (IT setup, workplace, access, safety briefings)
• Plan and execute meetings, travel, customer visits, and events (e.g. workshops, trainings)
• Manage end-to-end event logistics including external vendors
• Handle procurement of office and lab supplies and general office administration
• Create and track PRs, POs, invoices, and ensure compliance with financial processes (SAP/Ariba)
• Support safety, compliance, and documentation processes (e.g. audits, safety systems)

What you will need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an assistant, office management, or coordination role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• High attention to detail and reliability in administrative and financial processes
• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP/Ariba knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in German and English
