Commercial & Operations Manager — Organic Nutrients /Fertilizer (Bio Agriculture/ Bioeconomy / Circular Economy)

Pantheon Talent has partnered with an Agriservices Group who have a growing organic Nutrients /fertilizer business and are looking to onboard an Operations/Commercial Manager with strong Environmental Management experience to manage & operate this key business unit within the Group. They provide organic nutrient rich organic fertilizer—closing nutrient loops, reducing waste and delivering sustainable farm solutions. As Commercial & Operations Manager you’ll lead commercial activity, logistics and regulatory compliance to scale the business in terms of supply sources & end user customers, expansion of services and development of the business offerings to the market to increase revenue.
The Role
- Manage day to day operations, build relationships with current and new suppliers and develop new end customers
- Manage and maintain all NMP/client data in shared systems; submit and track data with NWCPO and EPA to ensure sector compliance.
- Collate NMP documents, soil tests and maps; prepare and submit EPA NMPs for customers using organic fertilizers.
- Oversee soil sampling logistics, spread and storage record tracking; ensure loads are dispatched only to compliant farms.
- Coordinate engineers, schedule machinery maintenance and organise winter storage for organic material and stock.
- Manage waste end‑destination coordination and ensure compliance with DAFM, NWCPO, EPA and local council regulations.
- Drive process improvements to support circular economy goals—optimising resource recovery, traceability and customer reporting.
- Engage clients and stakeholders, gather required data via email/phone and represent the business in sector meetings.
The Person
- Hold a qualification in Environmental Management allied to strong Operations or commercial management experience, ideally in organic Nutrients / Fertilizer, waste‑to‑resource, agriculture, or other regulated environmental sectors.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage shared data and regulatory deadlines.
- Experience with NWCPO, EPA and DAFM processes desirable.
- Excellent communicator and coordinator—able to manage clients, engineers, drivers and regulatory contacts.
- Commercially minded with experience approving invoices and payroll.
- Strong interest in bioeconomy, circular economy principles and sustainable agriculture.
