We are supporting a high‑performing, engineering‑driven organisation on the search for an exceptional Managing Director to lead its German business through an exciting next phase of growth. This is a suitable for a commercially sharp, people‑centric leader who thrives in a technical, engineering‑led environment.
The incoming MD will take full responsibility for commercial strategy, operational leadership, and organisational culture, building on a strong foundation while driving the business forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership and commercial leadership across Germany

- Lead multi‑disciplinary teams across operations, engineering, and commercial functions
- Build scalable processes, governance, and performance frameworks
- Represent the business externally with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop future leaders and embed a high‑performance culture
Ideal Candidate Profile
You will be an experienced senior leader with a background such as: Managing Director, General Manager, Commercial Director, COO, Sales Director or similar executive role.
You bring:
- A track record of growing revenue, improving profitability, and scaling organisations
- Strong commercial instincts and data‑driven decision‑making
- Experience leading technical or engineering‑focused teams
- High emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style
- The ability to modernise processes while protecting cultural strengths
- A hands‑on, grounded approach — leading from the front
Sector Experience (Advantageous)
A background in automation, intralogistics, robotics, or advanced engineering is highly advantageous, particularly for candidates familiar with technology‑driven environments and multi‑disciplinary teams. While not essential, this experience will support faster onboarding and a deeper understanding of the commercial and operational landscape.
