As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in executing our Go-to-Market strategy and driving success in your assigned territory.
What you will be doing:
- Make outside, face-to-face sales to an assigned set of customers within your geographic territory, strengthening Versatile’s position and market share.
- Build account development plans for up to ten customer hierarchies to drive strategic initiatives and local opportunities.
- Work under the guidance of VP Sales to implement enterprise agreements.
- Demonstrate consultative selling, collaborating with customers to assess their needs and propose solutions.
- Conduct live, in-person demos of Versatile’s technology with customers.
- Identify key roles on construction sites, understand their responsibilities and pain points, and secure meetings with executive-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments including Product Management, Logistics, Credit, Marketing, Technical Services, and Customer Success.
- Represent Versatile in construction industry trade organizations to build relationships, expand your network, and understand local competitive offerings.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in B2B sales or account management in construction technology.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute detailed and structured sales processes and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) and the ability to interpret and analyze sales data.
- Ability to leverage AI-driven tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, MSFT Copilot) to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and support data-informed selling.
- Understanding of construction workflows, technology adoption, and customer pain points.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing solutions.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
