Key job responsibilities
Full-Funnel Advertising Sales & Upper-Middle Funnel Expertise
- Drive full-funnel advertising revenue growth with a strong focus on upper-middle funnel solutions (e.g., Streaming TV, Online Video, Display, Audio), helping China-based advertisers build long-term brand equity through Amazon's premium brand-building ad products.
- Develop and articulate compelling full-funnel advertising strategies that demonstrate how upper-middle funnel investments amplify lower-funnel performance, driving holistic business outcomes for advertisers.
- Leverage deep expertise in Amazon's brand and awareness advertising tools (STV, OLV, DSP, etc.) to craft customized media plans that address clients' brand awareness, consideration, and conversion goals.
- Serve as the central orchestrator across Amazon Ads product portfolios — integrating Search, Display, Video, Audio, and custom solutions — to deliver cohesive, data-driven advertising packages tailored to each client's business objectives.
- Act as a virtual leader to coordinate cross-functional partners (Account Managers, Creative Managers, Product Go-to-Market teams, Global Ad Operations) to centralize resources, support, and solutions for advertisers.
- Build and present integrated media proposals that showcase the synergy across product formats, with clear performance narratives spanning brand metrics to ROAS.
- Influence and engage C-level executives (CMOs, CEOs, VPs of Marketing) by delivering strategic advertising solutions grounded in industry insights, competitive intelligence, and Amazon's unique data capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and key business partner, providing the highest level of consultative services to China-based brands — elevating conversations from tactical media buys to long-term brand growth partnerships.
- Develop executive-level presentations and business cases that connect Amazon advertising investments to clients' broader business and brand-building strategies.
- Proactively identify and pursue emerging industries and new advertiser segments to expand Amazon Ads' client base in China.
- Build and execute a BD pipeline strategy — from market research and cold outreach to first-pitch and onboarding — driving new Ads adoption among non-endemic and underpenetrated verticals.
- Understand the evolving digital marketing, e-commerce, and online streaming landscape in China and globally to spot high-potential opportunities before competitors.
- Dive deep on campaign performance reports and work with global advertising teams to optimize delivery and performance for advertisers across all locales.
- Coordinate campaign setup, measurement frameworks, and post-campaign analysis with global teams to ensure clients receive best-in-class service and results.
- Use CRM tools to track all pertinent account information, pipeline progress, and business development activities, ensuring data-driven decision-making and accurate forecasting.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree, or experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience presenting to SVP and C-Level
- Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience in consistently closing sales and generating revenues
- Experience in B2B, digital advertising, and ad-tech products/services
- Experience proposing complex advertising solutions to C-level executives
- Experience in Cross-Border and Oversea related business
