Footwear Product Planning Manager (Sports Footwear)

Responsibilities
  1. Based on brand positioning and annual sales targets, develop merchandise planning strategies and OTB (Open-to-Buy) plans, including product wave structure, color assortment, price architecture, and category structure;
  2. Conduct regular market research and analyze business data as well as competitor brand data;
  3. Participate in reviewing footwear design proposals, including color, materials, silhouettes, styles, design direction, and outfit coordination;
  4. Manage sample development and bulk production sample quality approval processes; establish and optimize footwear product standards, systems, and workflows; monitor and control timelines at each development stage;
  5. Lead and coordinate sports footwear product development projects across the company; develop and manage project plans to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards;
  6. Support new product launches and marketing campaigns; track product quality and market performance after launch; continuously improve footwear product development and commercialization processes.
Requirements
  1. College degree or above; CET-4 or above preferred;
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in sports footwear product planning; experience in similar roles at well-known footwear companies such as CAMEL or Skechers is preferred;
  3. Familiar with the North American and European footwear markets; strong understanding of the complete professional sports footwear development process, including footwear design, manufacturing, craftsmanship, cost structure, and cost control;
  4. Strong market insight and the ability to understand consumer needs;
  5. Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
