Job Summary:

The Sr. / Sourcing Account Manager is the link between the client and the agency to ensure the client is represented accurately and the agency’s capabilities are demonstrated. You will be responsible for implementing and achieving the client’s tactical marketing plan. This role will be working closely with internal team members and external client personnel to devise campaigns plans and tactics. Integral responsibilities include the day to day running of the account, demonstrate strategic potential and insight, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the client’s business.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input and advise on print, visual merchandising and premium projects
  • Oversee (and assist with) the procurement of clients marketing collateral, delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targets
  • Project management of campaigns and components
  • Develop strong relationships with clients brand teams
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers
  • Implement and use of Tag’s reporting tools
  • Measure customer satisfaction and take appropriate action
  • Measure KPI's and service standards against agreed and obligated levels
  • Predict potential areas of shortfall and implement remedial action as necessary
  • To coordinate the activities of the Account Management team
  • Work with colleagues in other markets and the central support teams to consolidate production and to coordinate multi-country campaigns
  • Identify potential areas of conflict and escalate where appropriate
  • Be an informed and authoritative point of contact for key stakeholders to address any contract, transactional or supplier issues


Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Communication, Advertising or Marketing
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in a related field, with exposure in production setting and background in POSM, displays, supplier and stakeholder managements
  • Prior experience in an agency is desirable
  • Experience in beauty/luxury retail is preferrable
  • Shopper marketing and significant print industry experience in either purchasing or production management; strong POSM knowledge an essential
  • Experience of working closely with agencies, and inputting at the design stages
  • Positive communication and interpersonal skills at a very high level
  • Credible at all levels within client, partner and agency organisations
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to plan and negotiate
  • Dynamic, yet detail-orientated outlook
  • Self motivated, able to work with the minimum of supervision
  • Capable of developing and implementing plans and strategy
  • Fluent in Cantonese & Mandarin, written and spoken, and strong English communication skills
  • Able to manage and motivate team
