Position Summary
The role will assist supervisor(s) in product and system development processes, to perform quality assurance on digital products for customer channels and internal supporting platforms.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer’s feedback and complaints on using digital products
- Verify customer’s feedback and complaints in testing environment
- Identify defects and work with technical teams to provide solutions of defects on various channels such as Internet Banking (BEA Online) and Mobile Banking, etc.
- Understand and clarify users’ requirements of the digital products
- Define and review testing scenario, test cases and test plans
- Define and review the acceptance criteria and prepare testing data
- Verify User Acceptance Test (“UAT”) results and record defects in systems
- Review defects log and follow up to close defects
- Work with testing team lead to produce testing reports, define testing scenario, test cases and test plans etc.
- To report defects to IT Department and testing team lead, and liaise with related departments to resolve defects
Requirements
- University graduate in a relevant discipline
- Preferable at least 5 years’ experience in banking sector
- Good understanding in retail banking products and services
- Sound knowledge in retail banking operations, procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements
- Able to lead a team to ensure the service quality
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Experience on using JIRA, Confluence, HP Quality Center and other tools for UAT will be a definite advantage
Candidates with less experience will be considered for Officer position.
