Your mission

  • You will assume technical responsibility for all welding processes carried out at the company's operating sites.
  • Your task is to supervise welding in accordance with the requirements of quality systems according to DIN EN ISO 3834 / 14731 and application regulations such as DIN 2303.
  • You will act as the contact person for representatives of certification bodies for all welding-related approvals of the company
  • You will design the welding-related quality processes
  • You will create welding instructions and issue specifications to production
  • You will monitor compliance with the quality requirements for the products to be manufactured
  • You will lead projects for the further development of products and production processes
  • You will be responsible for coordination and interface management with other departments and our customers
  • You will submit proposals to the management regarding planning decisions for the operational facilities for welding and related processes
  • You will be responsible for monitoring and further developing quality requirements and standards
  • You will provide technical support to the quality, project and sales departments

Your profile

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering/vehicle construction/materials or a comparable qualification.
  • You have the additional qualification of International Welding Engineer (IIW-IWE) or are expected to complete this qualification in the near future.
  • You have experience in the field of welding technology for metallic materials, ideally high-strength fine-grained structural steels.
  • Ideally, you have experience in the field of non-destructive testing of metallic materials
  • You are characterised by a high level of quality awareness and a goal-oriented, responsible approach to work
  • You are characterised by independent, conceptual thinking and action, as well as strong teamwork skills, communication skills and resilience
  • You have good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to participate in internal training courses on information security is expected. Basic knowledge of information security is an advantage
