This position is the recognized resource for the auditing and monitoring of the Office of Higher Education. This position reviews state and federal program records and sub-recipient accounting books, and interviews program directors and finance officers to ensure compliance with state and federal cash management rules and regulations. Desk audits and onsite program fiscal reviews are arranged to complete this task. This position is responsible for providing fiscal technical assistance and training to sub-recipient program directors and business office officials.

Position Description

Required Education And Experience

This position generally requires possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester (36 term) credits in accounting and three years of professional experience auditing accounting, financial, and operations records equivalent to an Auditor, including one year equivalent to an Auditor P11. Specific information on the education and experience required for the position is in the job specifications for the Auditor class.

Degree certificates are not accepted. When attaching transcripts, please name the college/university for each transcript attached.
