We're seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to lead strategy, operational improvements, and input into special filings and key growth projects for Numeral, a leading AI-native tax solution. As a senior member of our team, you'll drive continuous improvements to our tax workflows, guide special filings, and champion automation and AI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated domain expertise in U.S. indirect tax
- Experience in a startup that scaled and a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems, tools, or platforms used in finance and filings
- Strong analytical and Excel/data skills
- Strong communication skills
- Critical thinker with a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Proven ability to work cross functionally with product and engineering
- Startup mindset: Not scared of ambiguity and hungry for rapid growth
