As an integral part of the global marketing and communications team, you will act as a partner to the business, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within the region. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will spearhead the development of impactful marketing solutions; challenge conventional approaches; and drive action-oriented, forward-thinking strategies to achieve profitable outcomes. This role will be based in the office in Dudelange, Luxembourg, or Hilden, Germany.
Our Team
We are an in-house Marketing & Communications capability supporting all KES business units. We contribute to business outcomes through close partnership and collaboration with leadership, product and technology owners, and commercial teams. We leverage the strengths, talents and experience of our team and trusted third-party agencies to design and execute strategic marketing and communications plans.
What You Will Do
- Own the marketing strategy tailored to the European region, driving both strategic planning and the execution of all related tactical initiatives across multiple channels.
- Provide thoughtful input, strategic counsel, and challenge to business leaders within the region.
- Develop regional marketing intelligence, including customer personas, buyer journeys and competitive analyses, to inform marketing strategies; connect the global team with regional insights.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, product and technology teams to execute product marketing and sales enablement initiatives.
- Maintain brand integrity across all marketing initiatives, adapting global strategies to meet regional needs while ensuring consistency with the prominent brands in the region.
- Guide content, messaging and brand expression across online and offline channels.
- Support the company’s appearance at key trade shows, conferences, and customer events; partner to enhance the customer experience at events.
- Partner with cross-functional internal capabilities and external third parties to deliver seamless and integrated marketing campaigns, fostering collaboration and unity across the organization.
- Proven experience building marketing plans that include clear roadmaps & actions, with a focus on segment or product marketing
- Experience challenging and working collaboratively with stakeholders and leaders across the business
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product and/or other internal teams
- Ability to derive customer insights and translate them into actionable marketing tactics
- Experience working with third-party creative agencies or freelancers
- Understanding of the industrial, refining, mass transfer, and/or petrochemical industries
- Experience in B2B marketing
- Experience working in a global or multi-region business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation experience
