Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Program Manager position based in Deer Park, NY. The Program Manager will oversee and direct multiple aerospace and defense projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Responsibilities include liaising with customers and internal teams, managing project timelines, coordinating resources, tracking project performance, and mitigating risks. The role will also involve overseeing subcontractor performance, preparing status reports, and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.


Qualifications

  • Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration experience, with a focus on communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries is preferred
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus
  • U.S. citizenship required for compliance with defense contracting regulations
