Hourly Pay Rate
- Existing support staff will receive their current hourly rate
- $13.00 students still in high school
- $16.34 HS grad+ requiring clearances
FLSA STATUS:NON-EXEMPT
Position Summary
Under direct supervision, assists the Information Technology department in cleaning and servicing equipment throughout the District. May assist with the inventory, tracking, setting up/distribution of technology equipment and other duties, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong computer skills.
- Interest in the field of computer science/information technology.
- Passion to learn.
- Previous experience as an Information Technology Intern (unpaid internship during an academic year).
- Previously worked with the tech department.
- Knowledge of basic School District work policies and guidelines; knowledge of departmental practices and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently to carry out assignments to completion.
- Ability to perform duties with a professional and cooperative work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Collect technology equipment from various buildings and assist with proper inventory management.
- Perform basic hardware repairs, as needed.
- Properly clean and image laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads.
- Pack equipment for shipping, routing and distribution.
- Conform to safety standards as prescribed.
- Perform related duties consistent with job description and assignment.
- Perform other duties that as assigned.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel will be required between District facilities.
Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and use interpersonal skills.
Evaluation
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of non-licensed personnel.
