Software Engineer

Bed bugs are a fast-growing global problem across hotels and real estate - yet the industry is stuck with outdated, chemical-heavy methods. We’re changing that.

We’ve built patented technology that detects and treats bed bugs without chemicals or “human bait”. Demand is strong and we’re now scaling from early production into full-scale manufacturing. We are looking for someone to own our entire software stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our software that gives customers real-time insight into their machines and infestations
• Own the software stack end-to-end, architecture, reliability, scalability and new features
• Train and fine-tune the AI/ML models that power detection and decision-making in our machines
• Design and maintain databases and data pipelines
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and handle incidents when things break
• Work closely with the hardware team to make sure software and machines play nicely together

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience, ideally at a startup
• Comfortable owning a full-stack codebase end-to-end (frontend, backend, or both)
• Hands-on experience training or fine-tuning ML models, you don't need to be a data scientist, but you need to be comfortable getting into it
• Experience building web or mobile apps, bonus if they talk to hardware
• You move fast and don't wait for perfect requirements
• Experience with React/TypeScript and REST API design
• Comfortable with wearing multiple hats
• Based in Stockholm or willing to relocate
• English fluency
