Are you a commercially driven sales professional with experience in the consumer electronics or retail technology sector?

We are working with a global market leader in retail technology solutions that partners with some of the world’s largest retailers and consumer electronics brands. Due to continued growth in Japan, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to support the expansion of key customer relationships and channel partnerships across the Japanese market.

The Role

You will work closely with the local leadership team to help grow the company’s presence across Japan through a mix of channel development, customer engagement, and business development activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting business growth across the Japan market
• Developing relationships with distributors, resellers, and retail customers
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Supporting product launches and go-to-market activities
• Working closely with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
• Supporting sales presentations, customer meetings, and commercial negotiations

What We’re Looking For

• 3–10 years of experience in:
• Consumer electronics
• Retail technology
• IT hardware
• Display/POS/mobile device environments
• Experience working with distributors, channel partners, or retail customers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
• Comfortable working in an international environment
• Japanese fluent
• Business level English preferred
