- Understanding customers' and market segment needs
- Understanding industry trends, market dynamics and standards/regulatory developments
- Understanding competitive landscape and maintain competitive and industry analysis
- Developing and executing product line strategies
- Influencing customer product requirements that influence tender specifications
- Writing proposals in response to customer needs, RFQs and RFPs
- Informal quotes while communicating our technical knowledge and value proposition
- Developing new products and service proposals and business cases to enhance our automation portfolio
- Participating in bidding strategy for key opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong technical background
- A self-starter with a strong drive
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Embrace teamwork and team selling
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to visit customers in remote locations as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficiency using Salesforce or other CRM
- Business, Engineering or Technical degree preferred with10-15 years of industry experience. Production-related experience is an asset
