Data Reporting Analyst

Role Overview

This position is an execution-focused Analyst role supporting Finance teams through the generation, maintenance, and delivery of recurring operational reports. The role is primarily administrative-analytical rather than strategic, centered on running predefined reports, applying filters, validating outputs, and ensuring reporting accuracy across billing, time tracking, and forecasting workflows.

There is no requirement to design reporting frameworks or perform advanced analytics. Instead, the role emphasizes consistency, reliability, and ownership of recurring reporting cycles (daily, weekly, monthly).

The position collaborates closely with Finance stakeholders and supports reporting tied to billability tracking, forecast monitoring, missing time entries, income updates, and work-in-progress billing cycles (WIP reports).

Key Responsibilities

• Run and maintain standardized finance and operational reports
• Apply filters and configure report parameters in existing templates
• Support reporting cycles such as:
• Work-in-progress (WIP) billing trend reports
• Time tracking and missing time reports
• Income flash updates
• Billability/utilization tracking
• Forecast vs. actual performance reporting
• Execute recurring reporting schedules (daily / weekly / monthly)
• Ensure data accuracy and timely delivery to Finance stakeholders
• Collaborate with colleagues across Finance operations
• Support automation and workflow improvements when applicable
• Maintain consistency across reporting execution processes
• Follow structured instructions and repeat reporting workflows reliably

Required Technical Skills

Advanced Excel

• Pivot tables (mandatory)
• Filtering and structured reporting workflows
• Handling recurring datasets

Power BI

• Functional knowledge of report setup and usage
• Ability to refresh and manage dashboards

Power Automate

• Basic workflow setup
• Automation of reporting processes
