Senior Expert Mergers & Acquisitions (m/f/d)

• Managing the full spectrum of M&A and strategic cooperation projects from target and partner identification, evaluation, due diligence, transaction negotiation, closing, and initiating post-merger integration
• Supporting business plans, running financial models, and valuations
• Working closely with all group brands, business units, regions, corporate strategy and legal teams, leading cross functional business teams and coordinating external advisors
• Participating in negotiations, facilitating internal approvals, and managing internal stakeholders
• Assisting the Head of M&A on the continuous development of the M&A strategy of the TRATON Group

Profile description:

• You hold a degree from a top-tier university in business/management or (industrial-) engineering/ MBA with excellent academic track record
• Your sound experience (at least 5-7 yrs) is in managing M&A projects in investment banking / private equity or in combination with corporate M&A, and you are used to lead and execute projects independently
• You show reliable know-how in all M&A-relevant areas such as finance, business strategy, valuation, etc.
• Your high degree of decisiveness and distinct intercultural skills, resilience, flexibility, and willingness to travel enrich your profile
• You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills
• You are fluent in English and/or German, additional language skills are appreciated
