We are seeking a Backend Engineer II to develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core/6+ within an AWS cloud environment. This role focuses on building high-performance APIs, designing and optimizing relational databases, and deploying cloud-native solutions using services such as Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS.

Preferred:

• Familiarity or experience with low code / no code platforms such as: Nextworld, Appian or Salesforce.
• Experience using Copilot to break down work and create reusable tests as part of development cycle.

Key Requirements:

• Strong C# and .NET development experience
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS)
• Relational database design and query optimization
• CI/CD pipeline familiarity
• Strong communication and technical review skills

Nice to Have:

• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash)
• Unit and integration testing experience

This role requires someone who can bridge technical execution and stakeholder communication while maintaining high engineering standards.
