Role Description
The Advisory Board Member role is a volunteer position based on-site in Pasco, WA. Members will provide strategic guidance and expertise to support the organization's mission, assist with decision-making, and advocate for the community’s needs. Responsibilities include attending regular board meetings, offering insights on fundraising efforts, contributing to marketing strategies, providing expert financial or analytical advice, and engaging in research to support program development. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in their local community.
Qualifications
- Finance and Analytical Skills to support decision-making and resource management
- Experience in Fundraising to assist in securing resources and grant funding
- Marketing and Research skills to build awareness and support program initiatives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with team members
- Commitment to community service and understanding of social service programs
- Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and community-centered work is a plus
