Role overview:


The Business Manager, Korea for Natixis Asia Limited Seoul Branch has overall responsibility for overseeing and developing activities related to Global Markets, Coverage, Global Trade and DCM activities mainly for NALSB and the APAC platform. The BM to support the Senior Country Manager(대표), manage branch projects and act as the point of contact for all other departments, encompassing Risk, IT, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Operations to drive business growth and ensure operational excellence.


Reporting line: Senior Country Manager, Korea


Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage projects for branch
  • Manage financial and strategic planning for branch
  • Ensure business activities comply with local and global internal policies
  • Lead NPNA process and coordinate various internal and external regulatory audits.
  • Examine new Front Office requests to identify the key attention points.
  • Optimize workflows and address operational bottlenecks to enhance front-to-back efficiency collaborating with various departments.
  • Develop high-quality presentations and analyses.
  • Collaborate with Head office & APAC BM teams to align local strategy with global mandates.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and developments, to improve the local branch's processes.


Required Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar position (Business Management, Projects, Front Office, Department’s COO experiences …)
  • Strong understanding of Capital markets & Financial products and regulatory environments
  • Client/Customer oriented mindset and results driven
  • Good organization and analytical skills with attention to details
  • Solution-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and Korean
