Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop solutions for commercial and special-purpose vehicles using Embedded Linux systems.

• Create and extend Board Support Packages (BSPs) and drivers, including modifications to the bootloader, kernel, and build system for boot time optimization.

• Conduct performance analysis and optimizations to enhance the real-time capabilities (RTOS) of Embedded Linux.

• Implement software security measures for cyber security.

• Collaborate within a software team, fostering a spirit of teamwork and collective effort.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Linux software development.

• Proficiency in both Linux user mode and kernel mode.

• Solid experience with C and C++ programming languages.

• Development experience with Make and Yocto; basic knowledge of Rust is a plus.

• Strong German and good English language skills for effective communication within national and international teams.
