⚠️ Candidate Requirements (Please Read Before Applying)
- Must reside within 1 hour of Pulaski, TN
- Must have open availability to support business needs, including overtime or emergency service calls
- Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, lubrication)
- Diagnose and repair (If reasonable) engines, transmissions, brake systems, HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Conduct safety inspections on undercarriages, belts, hoses, and critical components
- Repair or replace defective parts to restore safe and efficient operation
- Respond to roadside service calls and equipment breakdowns as needed
- Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts usage in tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and DOT regulations
- Communicate equipment status and repair needs with supervisors and leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment technology preferred
- Previous experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel technician, or equipment mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
- ASE certifications or equivalent credentials are a plus
- Proficiency with diagnostic software, tools, and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and team-first mindset
- Shop and field service work
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, grease, and varying temperatures
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined or awkward positions, and stand for extended periods
- May require overtime or emergency response to support operations
