Role Description
Based in Barcelona, this is a key leadership position overseeing the finance function across our Southern Europe portfolio (Spain, Italy and Greece). Your will act as a strategic business partner, ensuring financial discipline while supporting operational decision-making in a fast-paced and multi-entity environment. You will partner closely with both local hotel teams and headquarters.
The role directly reports to Sircle Collection VP Finance.
Key Responsibilities
For the Spanish perimeter, including our Sir Victor property:
- Leadership: Act as the finance lead for Spain, partnering with the local team to drive performance and strategic decisions. Manage, support and develop the local finance team.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budget process and monthly forecasting. Monitor performance versus budget and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Closing & Reporting: Oversee month-end closings and ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports with critical recommendations for business decision-making.
- Cashflow Management: Maintain full ownership of cash flow planning and liquidity management. Closely monitor AR/AP and prioritize payments in line with business needs. Manage relationships with local banks.
- Compliance & Accounting: Supervise accounting activities and maintain internal controls. Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and statutory obligations. Coordinate with external partners (advisors, auditors).
- Process & Systems Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Supervise and support local Finance Leads
- Ensure consistency in reporting, controls and processes across the region
- Review performance, challenge assumptions and provide strategic guidance

- Experience: 7–10 years of experience in hospitality with a demonstrated track record in senior financial leadership positions.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop teams while acting as a strong business partner, able to challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Skills & Mindset: Solid expertise in accounting, FP&A and cash flow management, combined with a hands-on and solution-oriented approach. Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and comfortable working in English to effectively interact with headquarters and other regions
