Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with and schedule with contractors
- Program, commission, and train contractors on systems as requested
- Modify existing cabinets for new systems as required
- Turn on new controller assemblies and program components
- Independently manage travel arrangements while coordinating schedule with sales and management personnel
- Assist contractors, clients, and our internal technicians via phone and video when needed
- Any other duties as supervisor, the President and CEO may require
- Spends about 50% of time traveling; 50% doing office based work

Position Qualifications
Competencies & Skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing and walking for prolonged periods of time, lifting and/or carrying heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation is required
- Good hand-eye coordination is necessary
- Mechanical ability, required
- Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Ability to update and manage excel spreadsheets and manage Outlook calendar invites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills necessary for success
- Communication and teamwork skills with a positive demeanor is required
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English, non-negotiable
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions accurately and completely as needed
- Strong work ethic and initiative necessary
- Commitment to safety rules and DOT standards for roadway workspace, required
- Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Flexible work hours as needed to accommodate customer work schedules on occasion, necessary
- Ability to travel onsite with overnight stays that may begin on a weekend, required
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and be willing to furnish proof of private insurance at any time upon company request
- Candidate must have the ability to work from a home office with connection to the internet
- Technical degree or Associate degree in Engineering, preferred
- Previous experience installing traffic products, preferred
- Familiarity with small power and hand tools needed
- Quickly learn traffic technical knowledge and grow in their position over time
