Junior Lawyer – Energy and Resources (2+ PAE)

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a commercially astute energy and resources lawyer (2-4 years PAE) to join our growing practice in Perth.

This role is suited to a 2 to 4 PAE lawyer with proven experience in mining and resources transactions who enjoys variety and impact and is looking to step into a hands-on role with strong client exposure and responsibility.

You’ll work closely with senior lawyers and ASX-listed clients, with direct involvement in resources transactions, land access, native title and project development from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Work on mining and resources transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, mine development and project agreements
• Use your legal and commercial skills to provide timely solutions for clients
• Assist with native title and heritage agreements, from drafting through to negotiation
• Support tenure, approvals, and regulatory processes, including Warden’s Court matters
• Engage directly with clients, government departments, traditional owner organisations, and key project stakeholders to deliver outcomes
• Provide clear, commercially focused advice

What You Bring

• 2 to 4 years PAE
• Demonstrated experience in mining and resources transactions
• Working knowledge of Native Title and/or cultural heritage frameworks
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
• A positive, values-based individual who will augment our team and is keen to develop themselves
