Lynas Rare Earths is seeking a motivated Graduate Metallurgist to join our Mt Weld Operations. This is a FIFO position from Perth to our Mt Weld Operations on an 8/6 roster.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in mineral processing, plant optimisation, metallurgical test work, and continuous improvement within a supportive team environment.

As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team, you will:

  • Monitor and analyse plant performance data
  • Support metallurgical test work and process investigations
  • Assist with reporting and metallurgical accounting
  • Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Process Control teams
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and optimisation projects
  • Contribute to safe and efficient plant operations

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 0-2 years’ experience in mining, metallurgy, or process engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster
  • Full Australian working rights
