Role Description

Northstar Senior Living is seeking a qualified Executive Director for a temporary, on-site role located in Sacramento, CA. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of senior living communities, ensuring high-quality resident care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role also includes financial management, budgeting, and striving for profitability while delivering an exceptional living environment. Collaboration with various departments such as sales, marketing, and resident care will be integral to achieving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience, including staff supervision and operational oversight
• Expertise in budget management, financial forecasting, and achieving business goals
• Knowledge of senior care industry regulations, compliance, and best practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in marketing, sales, and relationship-building
• Demonstrated ability in project planning and community management
• Experience with assisted living or memory care communities is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA), are a plus
