FutureMaker Events Demonstrator (Part-Time)

- Compensation: $17.00 /hr
- Worksite Location: Various Locations
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engage participants and demonstrate STEM and technical career pathways in aviation, manufacturing, healthcare, construction sciences, and other fields.
- Operate audio, visual, and virtual/augmented-reality equipment in a variety of settings on and off campus.
- Assist in developing and maintaining new hands-on, interactive activities to promote technical education.
- Support event setup and teardown, including transportation and storage of lab equipment.
- Present to groups of students in an engaging, professional, and age-appropriate manner.
- Provide outstanding customer service and represent WSU Tech positively at all times.
- Travel as needed, including some evenings and weekends.
- Collaborate with the FutureMaker Lab team on program improvements and maintenance projects
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable learning and operating new software and technology tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Professional demeanor with attention to detail and customer service focus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
