🚀 Primary Purpose

At Fire-Dex, we don’t just manufacture gear—we protect first responders when it matters most. As our Production Manager, you’ll lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure we deliver on safety, quality, and performance every single day.

This role is all about driving results through people—leading teams, optimizing processes, and keeping production running efficiently while upholding our ISO 9001 quality standards.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate daily production operations to hit safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and keep production on track
• Coach and develop Supervisors and Team Leads to build a high-performing team
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence across the floor
• Monitor KPIs and take action to keep performance moving in the right direction
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, efficiency, cost savings)
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management on production-related projects
• Provide updates and insights to the Plant Manager
• Support hiring and staffing for your team
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and keep operations running smoothly

🎯 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Experience with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement preferred
• Familiarity with ISO standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
