Role: IT Support Specialist

Location: Manhattan, New York

Package: $75,000 - $80,000 + Benefits


We’re working with a rapidly growing Ecommerce / Retail business in Manhattan that is looking to add an IT Support Specialist to their onsite technology team.


This isn’t a traditional “sit behind the ticket queue” support role.


You’ll be embedded directly within a fast-moving commercial environment where technology genuinely impacts day-to-day operations across the business. The role offers broad exposure across end-user support, cloud technologies, infrastructure, networking and IT projects, with the opportunity to take real ownership rather than simply escalating issues elsewhere.


It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on, visible within the business, and trusted to solve problems properly.


You’ll be joining at an exciting stage of growth, with the chance to work closely with leadership, influence improvements, and develop beyond pure support into broader infrastructure and project work over time.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing day-to-day IT support across users, devices and business systems
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Supporting both Windows and macOS environments
  • Managing Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Administering Entra ID, user access, permissions and security policies
  • Supporting networking infrastructure including switches, firewalls and connectivity
  • Contributing to ongoing IT projects and operational improvements across the business


Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience within IT Support, Desktop Support or Infrastructure environments
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across hardware, software and networking
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
  • Exposure to Entra ID / Azure AD
  • Experience with Azure, cloud platforms or modern endpoint management is beneficial
  • Comfortable working onsite and operating independently
  • Someone proactive, commercially aware and confident working directly with users
