Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- 1. Lead, coordinate and monitor the grant application, follow-up reporting and RFP activities for the agency. For on-going grant opportunities: develop an annual plan/calendar, gather background information, prepare written applications collaborate with appropriate agency partners (directors, supervisors & coordinators) and monitor progress.
- Research and identify new grant opportunities from private, state or federal sources to support, expand and create new programming.
- Support preparation of annual funding plans, track progress/adjust course of research accordingly. Prepare advancement department’s update for quarterly board meetings.
- Back up social media management.
- Support all FCC related events. Occasional evening and weekend support required.
- Other projects as they develop.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Experience in grant management, online donor-related data systems and grant writing.
Equipment & Applications: General office equipment such as computer and desktop applications; Word, Bloomerange, DonorSearch, Excel & Canva.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: General office environment with minimal lifting and travel.
