Our client is a premier Alternative Investment located in NYC, seeking to add a SVP of Strategic Business Operations, this role focuses on analyzing & executing impactful change, operational, and strategic trading initiatives collaborating with various Business Leaders/Executives to optimize trading operations and implement effective strategic change to maximize organizational effectiveness.


Primary duties and responsibilities

  • The role entails managing strategic initiatives, crafting senior-level presentations, conducting analysis, developing decision-making models, and driving change within the business
  • Partner with business leaders for solutions-oriented approach to identifying and solving business operational inefficiencies using technology
  • Develop and track KPIs and leading indicators aligned with business and corporate objectives
  • Assess areas of improvement and initiate solution-oriented recommendations to realigned business objectives
  • Provide insights and analysis on firm trading operations, and other strategic areas
  • Identify gaps in execution and work with senior leadership to remedy change
  • Produce reports for management regarding compliance, regulatory, and risk initiatives
  • Manage simultaneous projects prioritizing organizational cohesive alignment with
  • Partner with business leaders to align planning cycles
  • Led process improvement for firms Trading platform
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute on business objectives

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of experience in sales, strategy consulting/ investment bank, or direct Hedge Fund/Trading/or similar experience.
  • Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving, and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced quantitative and critical thinking skills with the capacity to quickly learn and develop new reports and analysis
  • We are looking for a candidate with creative problem-solving and excellent modeling capabilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the business's growth and profitability objectives
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Engineering/Math/Science/Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferred
  • Results-orientation with an ability to take initiative, execute and complete deliverables in a timely manner
  • Deep understanding of Private Equity/Alternative Asset Management and/or Real Estate required
  • Communicate complex financial concepts and strategies in a clear and concise manner to both financial and non-financial audiences
  • Strong leadership potential, with excellent inter-personal skills and collaboration abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
