Requirements

• Native fluency in Sa'idi Arabic with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Upper Egypt
• Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic for orthographic decisions on dialectal speech
• Ability to distinguish Sa'idi from Cairene Egyptian Arabic in transcription
• Familiarity with regional Sa'idi variation across Upper Egyptian governorates
• At least two years of professional transcription, captioning, court reporting, broadcast, translation, or linguistic annotation experience
