Agentic Engineer(s)

Open to Junior, Mid & Senior – we are looking for 2–3 exceptional people

• We are building an AI-first company where engineers don’t write most code by hand. Instead, you design systems, orchestrate agents, backcast from outcomes, and ship end-to-end products with leverage, autonomy while being highly aligned.
• If you’ve experimented deeply with Cursor, Claude Code, GPT Codex based workflows or other coding agents - and realised engineering will never be the same - this role is for you
• Back in May last year, we course-corrected away from research-heavy and toward AI-Engineering and we've reshaped the whole engineering work culture

Your purpose in our mission

Your manager and team

Our org structure is made up of pods with distinct areas of focus to keep us all working on the most impactful things for our customers all of the time. Some of our team members work across multiple pods. Our structure was conceived with impact, autonomy and velocity in mind and we'd love to share more with you throughout our interview process. Your manager, Daniele, Head of Engineering, will develop your skills and enable you to deliver on the pod mission.

This is what you’ll be doing

Your purpose is to:

• Architect and build AI-powered products end-to-end
• Build and manage a fleet of agents
• Design technical systems that multiply team output
• Help us build the Agentic Legal Framework and our Knowledge Intelligence Platform
• Safeguard the team’s future by elevating engineering from individual contribution to 10x team output

You won’t just ship features.

You’ll shape how we build products in the age of AI.

• Design AI-first technical systems: Own technical design from first principles, use design patterns deliberately and architect scalable Node.js systems
• Manage and orchestrate AI agents: Build, deploy and maintain subagents, improving agentic effectiveness and design workflows that scale with agents
• Build end to end products: Own features from ideation -> architecture -> implementation -> shipping and move beyond ‘frontend’ or ‘backend’ silos
• Collaborate as a 10x team: Backcast from product outcomes and build most of the solution at once, share knowledge openly, elevate peers and design for collective intelligence
• Contribute to core strategic initiatives: Agentic Legal Framework, Knowledge Intelligence Platform, AIOps evolution

This is how we’ll set you up for success and the outcomes we expect from you

Over your first 90 days you can expect us to help point you in the right direction to set you up for success. During the interview process we can talk you through a high level overview of your 90 day plan.

By the end of your first three months we expect you to be:

• Month 1: Build, manage and maintain your first subagent. Understand and contribute to our AIOps workflows
• Month 2: Fully own and manage an assigned product end-to-end
• Month 3: Proactively contributing to product roadmap

By 6 months you will:

• Independently design and ship AI-native systems
• Be leading technical decisions on your product
• Multiply team output through agentic leverage

We’ll continually develop and measure success on the below criteria:

• Agentic effectiveness
• Technical design quality
• Ability to contribute to AIOps

The skills you need to succeed in this role

We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive and endlessly curious; someone who takes ownership, works autonomously and doesn’t wait to be told what to do. You’re entrepreneurial in your thinking, adaptable in fast-changing environments and naturally step into leadership when needed. Above all, we care far more about your mindset, ambition and leverage potential than the number of years you’ve spent in a role.

Required technical skills are:

• Strong Node.js experience
• Backend experience with frontend exposure or full-stack experience
• Strong technical design capability
• Deep understanding of design patterns
• Experience experimenting with coding co-pilots / AI coding tools
• Systems thinking
