Primary Function
Executive leader overseeing administrative services, procurement, logistics, facilities/O&M, and capital projects to support safe, compliant operations in a high-security facility.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and budget execution across admin, supply chain, and facilities.
- Ensure contract compliance, deliverables, and performance reporting.
- Manage and oversee the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or similar system, ensuring accurate asset records, preventive maintenance scheduling, work‑order tracking, and audit‑ready documentation across all facility systems.
- Coordinate with Security and Medical leadership on emergency readiness and continuity of operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and major service contracts (food, utilities, waste, maintenance).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in operations/facilities within complex institutions.
- Demonstrated financial management, procurement, and contract administration expertise.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with federal privacy standards.
- Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary clearances and credentials required for access to detention facilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations.
- Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, resided in the U.S. for 3 years in the past 5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must complete all required training.
- Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; or fluency in other languages.
- Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.
- Detention center experience.
- Work is performed in a secure detention facility.
- May require evening, weekend, or on-call hours.
- Exposure to emotionally challenging situations.
- Requires physical presence and mobility throughout the facility.
- Participate in drills and emergency responses as assigned.
