Overview:
Kavaliro is seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong Joomla experience to support a high-impact program within the Intelligence Community. This role is ideal for someone who can own the full website lifecycle—from planning and design through development, optimization, and maintenance—while operating independently within a small, agile team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end website planning, architecture, and development efforts
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Joomla-based websites
- Write and maintain custom code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement and manage SEO best practices to improve site visibility and performance
- Ensure a strong focus on user experience (UX) and intuitive design
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored web solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- Proven experience with Joomla development and administration
- Strong experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with custom code development and website customization
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and implementation
- Experience designing and optimizing for user experience (UX)
- Ability to work independently as a solo developer within a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting government or intelligence community programs
- Familiarity with secure web development practices
