About This Role
Key Accountabilities:
Portfolio Management: Responsible for individually managed accounts, including fixed income securities, equities and alternatives. This includes monitoring asset allocation and implementing trades as needed.
- Construct diversified portfolios within client investment objectives and constraints.
- Implement strategies based on the Investment Committee’s approved list of investments.
- Maximize investment returns commensurate with an acceptable level of risk.
- Conduct effective presentations to clients to explain investment strategies and results.
- Prepare for client meetings and partner with WM team to deliver outstanding service.
- Retain and expand client managed assets.
- Review and analyze prospective client portfolios and make recommendations.
- Make effective presentations to prospective individual and institutional clients.
- Coordinate investment response in requests for proposals (“RFPs”) if asked.
- Analyze investment opportunities in assigned research areas, focusing on potential return and risk. Primary investment committees include asset allocation and manager research with working groups in equity satellite, fixed income satellite and alternatives.
- Participate and make investment recommendations as part of Investment Committee.
- Support the investment team in all aspects of portfolio management and research.
- Complete OCC client initial and annual reviews for assigned accounts.
- Fulfill compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required.
- Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations as well as suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
CFA or CFP designation.
Strong understanding of capital markets, global economy and asset allocation.
Demonstrated expertise in a major asset class: Equities, fixed income, alternatives.
Ability to explain complex investment concepts clearly to clients and advisors.
Excellent relationship management skills with a client-first mindset.
Desired
Master of Business Administration or Finance.
Knowledge of Bloomberg, Moxy and Advent Systems.
Experience with servicing high net worth individuals and institutions.
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
Compensation
Compensation range (base pay): $126,830.00-$215,612.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
