As aStrategic Product Managerin the AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) organization,youcontribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions thatimpactpatients and their communities for the better.
This position will be onsite 3 days a week and virtual 2 days a week.

The Knowledge Integration & Articulation (KIA) teamdelivers technologies and content to advance company-wide understanding and re-use of knowledge. This includessub-teams covering:
- controlled vocabularies & ontologiesand related systems
- translation and multilingual content generationcapabilities
- published content and formalized internal insightswhichintegrate with AbbViesenterpriseArtificial Intelligence(AI)platformand otherbusiness solutions & processes.
Your Role
As a Strategic Product Manager,you drive the success of knowledge integrationsolutionsby bridging business goals with technical delivery.
You will coordinatekey programs focused on ontologies, language solutions, and published knowledge integration,facilitatingthe process to developproduct directionandorchestratedelivery.You will develop long-term strategies,coordinatecross-functionalteams, andimplement process improvements to enhance enterprise knowledgewith our KIA team leads. Your daily focus includesfacilitatingcollaboration, advancing strategic projects, and promoting ongoing improvement to maximize customer and business value in a fast-paced data-driven environment.
Closely working with our central Artificial Intelligence team(EPIC),you ensure thatAbbViesenterpriseAI frameworks areleveragedto deliver our services and that the knowledge we manage isclosely integratedand consumable through chat and agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicateproductvision and strategy for knowledge integration initiatives, aligning team efforts with business and customer needsto deliver business value
- Work with teamleadsto surface opportunitiesleveragingadvanced GenAIapproaches
- Build and prioritize product roadmaps, backlogs, and epics, translatingbusinessandtechnicalrequirements into clear tasks and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate the execution of ongoingsoftware development and serviceprojects, ensuring effective allocation of resources andtimelydelivery
- Track project progress andreportoutcomes,developing andutilizing KPIs to measure success andidentifyareas for improvement in team coordination and customer engagement.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and support team alignment on product goals
- Build cooperative relationships withcustomers,partnersand otherstakeholdersacrossthe enterprise, serving asthe key point-of-contact for KIA in the US
- Identifyopportunities for expanding language and translation product reach, especially in key regions like US & LATAM, supportingonboarding and customer engagement strategies to increase ecosystem adoption
- Serve as the contact point for stakeholder updates, project transparency, and feedback loops
- Advocate for efficient knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the teams
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years experience ORMasters degree with 6 years' experience OR PhD with 2 years' experiencein product management, product ownership, or project coordination in technical/data-centric environments
- ExperienceleadingAgile teams, coach others in Agile methodologies, and drive organizational changetowards the product operating model.
- Working knowledge of ontology design, FAIR principles, and data/metadata standards
- Basic understandingof terminology management preferred
- Experience working with language/translationsolutionspreferred, including translationmanagementsystems
- Excellent communication skillscapable of translating complex concepts for different audiences
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Understandingofand respectforcultural differences, especially with the global nature of the team's work and the focus on the US market.
- Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Proficiencywith MS 360 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Experience withinpharmaceutical R&D or scientific domainsa plus
