We Are META is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer with experience in AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and more. This is a remote contractor position based in Portugal.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a Platform Engineer
- Deep experience with AWS, particularly Networking and IAM
- Strong experience with Terraform and GitHub Actions
- Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with Backstage and multi-tenant platform environments
- Experience with security and governance tools such as Vault, Artifactory, Cedar, or OPA
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or LangSmith
- Comfortable scripting in Python, Bash, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Vector Databases such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, or Milvus
- Strong understanding of RAG architectures and knowledge retrieval strategies
- English language skills at least a B2 level
