Senior Financial Specialist

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Specialist to support our business team in daily financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial data, compliance with processes, and efficient execution, while providing insights and risk management support to guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Support

• Analyze profitability of new vehicle and overall sales;
• Assess the financial impact of business proposals to support profit maximization.

Dealer Financial Assessment and Risk Management

• Conduct financial and operational risk assessments for dealers and review contracts;
• Monitor financing usage and repayment, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements;
• Prepare and submit financing-related documents to banks to ensure smooth transaction settlement;
• Track dealer key performance indicators (KPIs), such as gross margin, inventory turnover days, and DMS data, to support operational efficiency and risk control.

Budget Management

• Review budget requests and expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company financial policies;
• Perform rolling budget updates and analyze variances between budget and actuals, providing recommendations for optimization.

Cash Flow Management

• Verify financing interest invoices, prepayments, automatic deductions, corporate credit card usage, and reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting;
• Oversee expense allocation and posting processes to maintain stable cash flow;
• Prepare cash flow reports.

Ledger & Tax Compliance

• Maintain ledgers for rebates, accruals, and extended warranties; follow up on invoice postings to ensure accurate and timely accounting
• Collaborate closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) to monitor ledger processes, ensuring complete and accurate financial data
• Compile supporting materials for tax filings and collaborate with tax agents in a timely manner to ensure tax compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance
• Strong accounting foundation and familiarity with SAP; excellent data analysis and modeling skills; proficient in data analysis tools(Excel advanced level required)
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong communication skills, risk sensitivity, and business acumen
• Ability to work in fast-growing environment
• Fluent in English and German, Chinese is a plus.

Automotive industry experience is an advantage
