Position: Assistant Recruiter

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay: Starting pay is $20.00/hr.

Office is located off of Sam Rittenberg Blvd in West Ashley.


Summary:


You will be working with candidates and clients through the job hiring process. We are looking for the right person to join a fast paced, team orientated work environment. The ideal candidate will come with some recruiting experience. This is a great opportunity to break into the staffing industry.


Essential Functions/Duties: Including but not limited to:


  • Conduct and schedule onsite interviews
  • Follow up on uncompleted and completed applications
  • Assist with candidate onboarding and first day details
  • Work closely with field recruiters and location manager
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents What you will need as the HR/Recruiting Assistant
  • Source and recruit candidates using job boards and social media platforms etc.
  • Post jobs to job boards and social media platforms
  • Develop solid relationships with clients and candidates
  • Write effective job descriptions and timely posting to job boards
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to identify good candidates
  • Maintain accurate record of activities within the Applicant Tracking System


Basic Requirements & Qualifications: Including but not limited to:


  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • This position requires a high level of personal touch and customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships and network with people from a wide variety of professional backgrounds
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate may be required to pass a drug test and criminal background check based on job location/requirements.
