Role Description

As our Founding Systems Architect, you are the "Guardian of the Pipes." You will own the deterministic bedrock of the FPU, leading the architectural leap to .NET 10 and ensuring our infrastructure can withstand the scrutiny of the world's largest institutions.

This is a role for a systems engineer—someone who can design a distributed ledger at 30,000 feet and then dive into a stack trace to fix a race condition at ground level. You will lead our June Microsoft

Architectural Review and personally architect the path to SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.

Key Mission Tracks:

• The .NET 10 Leap: Leading the core calculation engine migration to .NET 10, maintaining "Penny-Perfect" integrity throughout the transition.
• Institutional Hardening: Owning the Azure cloud infrastructure (Key Vault, SFTP, API Management) and ensuring sub-second latency for high-velocity signal streams.
• Compliance as Code: Treating SOC 2 not as paperwork, but as an engineering requirement. You will bake security controls directly into the CI/CD and infrastructure logic.
• Agnostic Ingestion: Building the "Airlock" that refines chaotic data from Salesforce, Workday, or operational systems into a normalized, audited source of truth.

Qualifications

• Institutional Pedigree: 8+ years of experience in high-stakes environments (Fintech, Trading, or Infrastructure). Background at firms like Stripe, BlackRock, or SS&C is a massive plus.
• .NET Mastery: Deep proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem. You understand the "Breaking Changes" of .NET 10 and how to navigate them.
• Cloud Architect: Expert-level experience with Azure infrastructure and security protocols.
• Security Mindset: You view SOC 2 and technical audits as "Infrastructure Engineering" problems to be solved with code.
• AI-Native Workflow: You leverage AI multipliers (Claude Code, Cursor) to dismantle technical debt at 10x velocity. You don't just write code; you orchestrate systems.
